| Please read our shipping and return policy thoroughly before making a
purchase. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to add/change/remove any
parts of this policy at any time and these changes will be effective upon posting. By
purchasing items from our store, you understand and agree to be bound by our
terms of sale, privacy policy, shipping and return policy and by all other provisions
as stated throughout our website. Shipping rates and times may change at any
given time as dictated by actual shipping costs.
Shipping/Processing Orders
- We carry about 95% of our items in stock. Occasionally, we will be out of
stock of an item or special order products may ship directly from the manufacturer
or ordered by us when you place an order.
- In stock items usually ship 1-2 business days after you place an order (our
processing time).
- Out of stock items may take up to 15 business days so please keep this in
mind when you are estimating the timeframe in which you need an item delivered
(processing time + shipping time).
- If you need an item sooner or by a specific date, we suggest you contact us
prior to purchase so that we may check our inventory and processing time. We will
do our best to accommodate special circumstances, but we cannot make any
guarantees.
- Once we process your order, it may take 2-10 business days for the
shipment to reach its destination (domestically; contiguous 48 states). We are
located in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and all in-stock shipments will originate from
there.
- Please remember that once we send a package, we have no control over
delivery time, dates, or any delays that may occur during shipment. Therefore we
are not liable for lost or delayed packages. If there is a problem, we can point you
in the right direction to contact the carrier.
- Custom orders (for Snooty Paws fashions) may take anywhere from 2-4
weeks to process, create and ship.
Shipping Methods & Shipping Costs
Our preferred carrier/method is USPS (United States Postal Service) Priority Mail,
though we may occasionally use another carrier. Carrier selection is at our
discretion.
Shipping Fees (US)
- USPS Priority Mail shipping - $6.50 and up, depending on the cost of your
purchase (usually 3-15 business days)
- Insurance and Delivery Confirmation are available upon request.

Shipping Locations (US)
We will ship our products to any state in the U.S. and U.S. territories. Please
note that shipment to Hawaii may incur additional shipping charges (actual cost),
and you will be notified if that is the case.
Shipping Locations (International)
- We will ship to a number of international destinations.
- You will be responsible for any customs, import, duty and brokering fees that
may be charged by your government or by the carrier (they will bill you separately if
this applies)

lbs. If the package weights more than that, we will contact you about

*Please note that the timeframes shown on this chart refer to business days and
the delivery dates provided are estimates only. Delays may occur during holiday
seasons. Also, the above are delivery transit times and do not take into account
processing time (usually 1-3 business days). Global Express shipping is available
for most in stock items. Please contact us for rates.
Sales Tax
- We collect a sales tax of 8.25% for all TX residents.
- Residents of all other states are responsible for payment of their own taxes.
- International residents are responsible for paying their own taxes and
customs/duty charges.
Undeliverable Packages
If a package is returned to us as undeliverable - unclaimed, refusal at your
ship-to address, incorrect information provided to us, unknown mailing address
from mail carrier, missing information or the like, you will be assessed the shipping
fee. At your request, we will reship at an additional shipping charge. Please make
sure you enter accurate shipping information and make sure USPS and UPS will
deliver to the ship-to address you provide. If for any reason we are unable to
reach/contact you regarding this issue or to verify your shipping address, we will
issue you a store credit only (via e-mail), minus a 25% restocking fee any actual
shipping fees incurred by BDC.com. It is your responsibility to follow up with the
order once we have attempted to reach you.
If you wish to reorder the items, you will be responsible for additional
shipping fees. It is important that you always verify your shipping address. We
cannot be responsible for any incorrect shipping information that may be provided
to us by the purchaser.
Lost or Damaged Packages
If the box arrives and appears damaged, please refuse delivery. The package
will be returned to us. Notify us of the refusal so we know to expect the package.
Once the item is returned to us, we will process the package again.
If a package is lost in transit, please file a claim with the carrier. When a
package is lost in transit, the two parties involved will be you and the carrier.
BDC.com is not involved in this transaction once the package is shipped and this
type of issue is beyond our control and jurisdiction. Should a situation like this
arise, we will point you in the right direction and assist you in any way we can.
Return & Exchange Policy
Returns
We understand that dogs and puppies come in all shapes and sizes. Please
follow our guidelines below for a prompt and courteous exchange:
- Please notify us first so we know to expect your returned package.
We will issue the RMA # to track and expedite all returns. Items returned to us
without prior authorization and RMA # (return merchandise authorization #) will
NOT be accepted and will be returned to you. Sorry, we are not able to make
exceptions.
- You have 7 days after you receive the item to notify us and return your
purchase for store credit only. We ask that the return item(s) be mailed to us
immediately after the RMA # is issued. Returned items must be received within 21
days of the date the RMA # was issued. We suggest that you insure your return
package as items lost and/or damaged in transit will be your responsibility.
- Returns will be accepted if the item is in brand new condition, unworn,
unwashed and with all tags and/or packaging.
- Items sent to us with missing tags, stains, odors, dog hairs, etc. will
not be accepted and will be returned to you at your shipping cost.
- You will be held responsible for any damage to merchandise caused
by your pet. Sorry, we will not be able to honor returns or exchanges for
merchandise that is not in its original, new condition.
- Courtesy exchanges are provided once on most items**; subsequent
exchanges will incur a $15 handling fee. You will be responsible for the cost
involved in reshipping all exchanges.
- Items not eligible for exchange include beds/bedding, toys, seasonal
apparel and gifts, custom orders, grooming products, and all reduced items in our
Sale and Clearance areas.
- The item must be in a resalable condition and we reserve the right to
make the final decision. Please return all items in the condition in which you would
like to receive your items.
- Note, all custom / custom order items, holiday items, and sales rack
items are final sale and cannot be refunded or exchanged.
- Holiday, special occasion clothing, and birthday items are not
refundable or exchangeable.
- All items marked sale or clearance are final sale items.
**Due to health regulations, the following items are non-refundable
and non-exchangeable:
- belly bands/diapers
- all grooming items (shampoos, conditioners, soaps, spritzers)
- carriers
- beds
- food bowls
- edible products
- any other items we deem unhygienic for resale
*Remember, you would not want to receive the above item used so
please respect this. We cannot and will not make exceptions to our policies so we
kindly ask that you do not ask this of us.
- We encourage you to read all relevant product descriptions, sizing
and always measure your pet accurately before you make a purchase!
- If you have any questions about an item, please ask before you make a
purchase.
- Exchange credit is provided in the form of store credit minus all actual
shipping costs (may be more than the $5.50 we charge you depending on costs of
shipping and packaging to us) and or restocking/handling fees.
- Again, please take note, just because you pay $6.50 shipping, actual
shipping cost may be more and we will issue a store credit minus ACTUAL shipping
cost to us.
- Returns to us will be at your shipping cost.
- In the case of shipment that was in our error, we will cover all
associated shipping costs and no other fees are applicable.
- We will happily exchange any defective items at our sole discretion and
our final determination. If an item is damaged or defective, you will receive the
same replacement item or equivalent item or store credit
- You have 48 hours of receipt of item (from delivery confirmation) to
notify us of any defects or damage, and 30 days to mail items back to us (i.e., we
must have possession of returned item within 30 days of notification of your intent
to return the item). We kindly ask that you do not wait months to return an item to
us. Anything beyond 48 hours of delivery, we will provide you with the name and
contact information of the manufacturer and you will have to contact them for
defective product issues.
- We will not be responsible for any lost or damaged shipment you
return to us and highly recommend insuring and tracking all items. Once we receive
the returned item(s), we will issue you store credit minus all shipping costs within
30 days of receiving item(s).
- If you receive free shipping on any items you return, you will be
credited the cost of the product(s) minus any actual shipping costs we incur + any
associated fees.
Return Instructions
- As a courtesy to us we ask that you notify us prior to any returns or
exchanges via email so that we can expect your package.
- Items shipped to us without prior authorization or notification WILL be
rejected and returned to you, no exceptions!
- Once we receive the written request, we will send you an RMA (return
merchandise authorization) number to add to the packing list included in your
shipment. Please write the RMA number on the packing list and return it along the
merchandise.
- Please mail package back to us in a secure box with appropriate
packaging to prevent damage during transit. Use a secure carrier such as UPS, Fed-
Ex, USPS. We ask that you use shipping confirmation for your own protection and
insure all packages in the event it gets lost or damaged in transit. If there is no
confirmation of delivery, packages damaged and/or lost during transit, will not be
our responsibility. We cannot stress enough the importance of packaging items
securely and insuring/confirming delivery of the package. It is for your own
protection.
We ask that you mail to us:
- Product with all tags and packaging in original shape
- RMA number we provide
Gift Cards
Purchase of gift cards or gift certificates cannot be returned or exchanged for
cash. They must be used to purchase of products in our dog boutique only.
Order Cancellation
Should you place an order and then decide to cancel all or part of your order,
you may be charged a 10% credit card fee to cover the cost of refunds. This is the
fee assessed by our credit card company to process a refund transaction. Orders
may only be cancelled if we have not already processed and shipped your order,
which usually occurs within 12 hours of order submission. We reserve the right to
make the decision to cancel any orders at our discretion.
